The title sequence centers around water as a core motif, incorporating aquatic plants, reflections, ripples, birds, and fish to create a fluid and ethereal world. The shifting reflections and gentle waves blur the boundary between reality and illusion, while the interplay of fish and birds symbolizes a connection between different dimensions.

Concept Development

The film itself, shot on 16mm film, follows Yoyo, a mute boy living in a small seaside town, making a living by catching crabs. During a group therapy session, he meets a girl named Aliana, an encounter that stirs a quiet transformation in his life. The film explores the fluid boundary between reality and dreams.

For the title sequence, I wanted to visually reflect these themes. Water became the central motif, representing fluidity, transformation, and the blurring of reality and illusion. The design incorporates aquatic plants, reflections, ripples, birds, and fish, creating a dreamlike and immersive atmosphere.
