This is a self-publication that explores the souvenirs as objects. I grew up in a tourist city, Guilin, with hundreds of souvenir shops. Meanwhile, I love traveling, and it’s also fun for me to bring back refrigerator magnets bought from all over the world. These travel kitsch become symbols of travel experiences and a takeoff for adventure narratives. No matter where you encounter similar objects, they will automatically bring up travel memories. People are also fond of attributing values to other consumer items, as Roland Barthes illustrates in the myth, but what's intriguing about souvenir narratives is that they usually center on the owner's travel experiences and recollections of the past and locations.
